Starting a Blog-YE HAW
Dear Reader,
You have found the right spot if you are starting your career and are yee’hawing through life. You yee haw’d so hard you serendipitously landed on my new Communications blog.
Through this blog, I will share what I have learned working as a Digital Communications Specialist and all the worthwhile experiences I have accumulated.
My influences come from my time at OCAD University studying Advertising, my experiences as a copywriter, and working at an Indigenous Government.
With a balance between advice and anecdotal articles, I will explore topics such as Preparing your Resume, Learning from the Banana Sticker as a Communicator, Web Accessibility, Creating Confidence, and more!
Will I look back and cringe? As my coworker and I say, “The force is strong.”
But that is okay because I hope to be my most honest self and share as much as I can to help anyone who wants to laugh or learn a thing or two.

Yee Haw is my new verbal hang-up. I would define it as a phrase in its Barbie movie era that is slightly chaotic, with silly undertones.
